Kula Postdoctoral Fellow Interviewed by Associated Press (AP)

The work of Kula & Aspiration Post-doctoral Fellow Nathaniel Brunt was featured by the Associated Press.  The article, “Iraq’s Yazidis rediscover lost history through photos found in a museum archive,” explores the partnership between Brunt and doctoral candidate Marc Marin Webb at the University of Pennsylvania and their collaborative work with the Yazidi community around the world.

Brunt is developing the Conflict Aftermath Digital Archive Project (CADAP) for the Kula: Library Futures Academy. CADAP explores ethical methods for producing collaborative digital archival projects in conflict and post-conflict environments. The research draws from knowledge accumulated during long-term field work in Kashmir and Iraq.
